Debi Moon -  Cheer Coach

 

My name is Coach Debi and I have been a coach for XCA for 17 years, but my family has been a part of XCA for 20 years!  I have also coached high school cheer so I have over 20 years of coaching experience.  At XCA I have coached all ages from baby cheer up through senior teams.   

 

My coaching philosophy is based on honesty and communication.  Effective coaching requires communication and emphasizes open and transparent dialogue between the coach and the athletes.  

 

Coaching, for me, is about building great people not just a great program.  The kids I have coached are my kids for life, not just while they’re on my team.
