Xtreme Cheer And Gymnastics #1 Inc also known as “XCA” is a positive place for your child to excel in cheer, dance, stunts, tumbling and jumps. We have successful teams made up of kids from all over the Kansas City area.
At XCA we strive to build a relationship with each child and family - no one is just another number to our program. We want every athlete to succeed and have fun while learning life skills! XCA provides a positive and fun atmosphere where your child can learn teamwork with other athletes, work toward college scholarships and develop positive relationships with their coaches and peers. Our goal for all athletes at XCA is to help them reach all their goals in life and to build confidence with success as a team and individually.

Cancellation/Opt-Out Instructions:

Cheer and Gymnastic Policies
1. Please arrive a few minutes early for your class.
2. Wear comfortable clothes, no zippers or metal snaps or buttons, take out all jewelry. No acrylic/fake nails or jewelry can be worn during class as it is a safety hazard. Tennis shoes should be worn for cheer class. Socks or barefoot is fine for tumbling classes.
3. Please send your child a water bottle, with their name on it for each class. Bottles may be filled up in the kitchen sink or drinking fountain. Water bottles are available for purchase most evenings for $1 at the front desk.
4. Place bag and water bottle in waiting area on a hook. There are cubbies and hooks for bags, jackets, or water bottles. Please send as little as possible to class, and collect all belongings at end of class. Any items left after a month, may be donated. XCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
5. Class settings are kept to a 1 to 10 ratio to provide smaller class settings.
6. When finished with your class or lesson, return to the waiting area and remove shoes. Put all items in your bag. If athletes are changing shoes, please have their outside shoes be slip on types so they can change quickly.
7. Exit through back doors and staff member will make sure you get to your car/parent.
8. Parents should form a pick up line at the bottom of the stairs. Staff will make sure athletes get to their cars safely.
9. There is to be no other food or drinks brought into the gym at this time, your child may bring their own water bottle and place in a cubby or their own bag.
10. Parent watch nights will be the 1st week of the month for Cheer and Tumbling classes, and the last week of the month for cheer teams (this may change from time to time) Due to space limitations, we kindly ask that you limit the number or extra friends and siblings. Please do not let children climb on the railings in the balcony.
11. If your child is 5yrs old, and younger a parent may stay with them every week.
12. If we are closed due to weather, we will send an email, text message, bulletin on the FULL OUT app as well as post on our Band page and social media. You MUST sign up through the Full Out This is the fastest way to let you know that we are closed for weather. *** Please make sure to keep all information updated with us.*** It is also posted on our Facebook page Xtreme Cheer & Gymnastics- WE DO NOT CLOSE JUST BECAUSE SCHOOL IS CLOSED.
13. If you are absent from a class, you may make it up within 3 weeks, you will need to check with the front desk or email us to schedule your make up class. DO NOT SHOW UP FOR A CLASS WITHOUT SCHEDULING IT FIRST.
14. If you have any questions regarding your account please do not ask the coaches, they do not have that information, please direct those questions to the Office & Account Manager and put ACCOUNT in the subject. You may do this by emailing xcacheerkc@gmail.com, texting our phone at 816-306-1922, or messaging on the Full Out app. The coaches are dedicated to teaching the kids and do not handle individual accounts. We are excited you have chosen XCA to enhance your cheer or tumbling skills! We are excited to serve you and have your family at our facility! Financial Responsibility for Classes
When enrolling in a class the registration/membership fee will be charged. This will be charged to the account on file upon enrolling in a class(es). The registration/membership fee is non-refundable and will be charged each year on the anniversary of the month you began classes, as long as you are enrolled in classes.
Tuition is charged on the 1st of each month and is based on flat monthly rates. Tuition will be automatically deducted from the card on file on the 1st of every month. All members are required to have a credit card or debit card on file with XCA for automatic, recurring monthly payments.
The credit card listed on this registration/membership form will be charged at the time of registration and used on the first of each month for tuition, or any other fees incurred. All declined cards may be re-ran each day until funds are available.
If you choose to pay by cash/check, it must be received and posted by our business office BEFORE THE 1st of the month .
There is a $10 late fee added to the account after the 7th of the month.
There may be a $30 charge for any checks returned or declined payments by the bank. You have 48 hours to correct the billing information and make the monthly payment. After that an additionL $10 charge will apply for each subsequent attempt to process the payment that is declined.
Failure to pay by the 2nd class of the month will result in removal of your child from class.
When becoming a member of XCA you will be financially responsible for payment of all fees for your child which may include tuition, competition fees, registration/membership fees, uniforms, shoes, choreography, and practice wear, depending on which class your student is enrolled in.
Other requirements
All students or adults participating in any classes, will be required to sign a RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISH AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT before participating in a class.

Dropping a Class Policy
To ensure proper class management, staffing, and space availability, XCA requires advance notice for dropping a class. Please read this policy carefully.
For all recreational Cheer and Tumbling classes (non-team athletes):

30-Day Notice Requirement: A 30-day written notice is required to drop a class. Alternatively, you must notify our business office by the 7th of the month prior to the month you wish to cancel.

Example: If you wish to drop your child from a class for May, you must notify us by email by April 7th.

Automatic Enrollment & Billing: Upon enrollment, you're automatically added to our convenient automatic payment program. Your card on file will be charged on the 1st of each month for the upcoming session. All customers are automatically enrolled into the next monthly session and charged the monthly fee unless they follow the drop procedures outlined below.

How to Notify Us: Notification must be emailed to XCACHEERKC@GMAIL.COM.

We will respond to your email to confirm receipt. If you do not receive a response within 24 hours, please email us again to ensure your request was received.

Effective Date of Drop: If your drop request is received on the 8th of the month or later, your request will not be honored until the following month. This means you will be responsible for that current month's tuition.

Example: If you email us on April 8th to drop for May, you will still be charged for May, and your child's enrollment will end effective May 31st.

For Cheerleaders on Team:
Team cheerleaders have a separate drop policy. Please refer to your specific team contract for details.
Photo and Video Release Policy
At Xtreme Cheer and Gymnastics #1 Inc. ("XCA"), we love celebrating our athletes' achievements and using visual media to enhance our programs. This policy explains how we may use photos and videos of our students and the choices you have regarding your child's image.
Purpose of Photo and Video Use
We may capture photos and videos of students for the following purposes:

Instructional Use: To provide feedback to students, demonstrate techniques, track progress, and for coach training. This helps our athletes grow and refine their skills. These images are typically for internal use within XCA.

After consent you grant XCA permission to photograph and/or video record your child for the purposes outlined above.

No Compensation: You understand that your child's participation in photos and videos is voluntary and that you will not receive any compensation now or in the future.

Ownership: All photos and videos taken by XCA staff or authorized photographers/videographers are the property of Xtreme Cheer and Gymnastics #1 Inc.

No Identification: For promotional materials, we generally do not include students' full names or other personal identifying information without separate, specific consent, unless they are publicly identified in connection with a team roster or event results.
Opt-Out Option
We understand that some families may prefer that their child's image not be used for promotional purposes.

Opting Out of Promotional Use: If you do not wish for your child's photo or video to be used in promotional and marketing materials (website, social media, advertisements, etc.), you must notify XCA in writing by sending an email to xcacheerkc@gmail.com with the subject line "Photo/Video Opt-Out – [Child's Full Name]".

Instructional Use Remains: Please note that opting out of promotional use does not opt your child out of being photographed or video-recorded for instructional purposes within XCA's internal coaching and training.

Best Efforts: XCA will make its best effort to honor all opt-out requests for promotional materials. However, due to the dynamic nature of group activities and live events, it may not always be possible to prevent incidental inclusion of your child's image.
Certain team members may also be asked to agree to a private lesson policy and a cheer contract if it pertains to your child.
